[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] cause i know you dont care what my middle name is the words: 622 the outfit: banner the notes drama ashleigh had told ryland to meet her here at the club and she was still wondering if he would show up after the tense moment in the garden with him. maybe he was too good for her and that she just was not his type of girl at all... it was possible. but she could not back down now after she had already invited him that very same day an had dressed up nicely for the occasion.
Her stylist had argued that the dress was perfect but Ashleigh thought it was too skimpy until she tried the dress on and saw the way the fabric hugged her body and the lace was naughty but still classy. There were possible business partners in the same room, she could not risk blowing a movie event over an outfit. It was eighteen to enter, twenty one to drink... invite only, but she had a few tricks up her sleeve to get Ryland an alcoholic beverage.
outside the place was busy with people lined up for blocks as the usher one by one examined invites and kicked out the frauds. she sat in a red leather seat in the back of the room, a few dimly lit candles casting an aura around the seated area. there was a drink on the table and some sushi as she used her chopsticks to pick up a roll as she placed it in her mouth. the dance floor was crowded and she did not want to go out just yet. tonight was supposed to be fun for ashleigh, or so she hoped. she wanted to definitely get laid that was for sure b ut she also wanted to have a good time and just mess around, kiss and have people left wondering... it was her favorite thing to just leave people off the edge of the chairs wanting more... she was good at it.
crossing her ankles, her red leather pumps made a statement against the little black dress that did not even end at the knees. her hair, swept up and away was beginning to annoy her but it kept the overall look tasteful yet a hint of spice so she listened to her stylist. as she sipped her margarita she saw a head of blond hair walk by, was that ryland? she stood up and walked over to the railing to look down. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] oh my just please try to shut up and kiss me baby the words: 676 the outfit: look at header the notes bow chicka wow wow . ryland knew that his actions prior to the event that he was driving to, which was meeting ashleigh at a club, had probably offended her. but he wasn't much of a romantic guy. he knew how to woo a girl, but when it came to actually hanging out with one and doing all the cutesy things, he was at a loss. plus he wasn't that type of guy. ryland hadn't meet to make her anger or hurt her, but for how long they had been doing this, she should have known what he liked and didn't. the picnic was a little overboard, and the public display of affection. but he'd never her tell her that because he was getting laid. he could endure some of it. but only so much of it before he cringed away. which was what had happened in the garden. hopefully ashleigh wouldn't take it too much to heart. he didn't do that with any girl, and she was lucky that he showed any type of affection unless they were going at it in the sheets.
he wasn't sure what to wear, so he dressed semi casual. a collared shirt with a jacket and some slacks. he had just thrown it on and did a little with his hair and left in his '67 camaro. ryland arrived a little after eleven, parked, and walked in. he had no idea where she'd be at because they hadn't discussed it. she had kind of left in a hurry and he didn't have time to ask. in fact, he wasn't entirely sure if she was even wanting him to come now. he assumed, because she didn't send him a hateful text that it was still okay for him to come. he walked through the crowd of people, looking for the blonde anywhere, but there was no one that even looked like her. he sighed and made his way to the bar. clubs were good to pick up chicks and if ashleigh had stood him up, that would be what he'd do. in fact there was a pretty little brunette standing at the bar as he walked. he managed to get a spot close to her, and gave her his signature smirk.
ryland wasn't twenty one, but it didn't mean he didn't drink. in fact, he could get any liquid alcohol beverage he wanted if the bartender was a girl. it was actually surprising that he even got into the club but he only had to say his name and he was in, which was a good sign. that meant she actually still expected him to come. the question still remained where she was at though. he contemplated flirting with the brunette to just pass the time, but it seemed a waste if he wasn't going to take her home afterwards. he turned, leaning against the bar as he surveyed the area, searching for her face. nothing. and there were a lot of people here. he hoped that he hadn't been replaced, because if so, this girl beside him was going home with him tonight. finally, he saw a blonde peek out of the railing and smiled. ashleigh looked amazing in that little tight black dress. her hair was up, which looked good, but he'd much rather have had it down so he could mess with it. he loved long hair on girls.
he nodded in her direction, because she seemed to be watching him. and he made his way towards her. finally, after pushing his way through, he got to her. a smile played on his lips. hey. he looked her over, his blue eyes scanning her figure, admiring it. you look good. he leaned forward, kissing her cheek. i thought you might have stood me up there for a minute. he chuckled. not that her standing him up would have much matter to him since he wouldn't have been going home alone anyways, but he hoped she enjoyed that piece of information. so what are did you want to do at this club, he smirked, sliding an arm around her waist.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] cause i know you dont care what my middle name is the words: 622 the outfit: banner the notes drama Ryland made eye contact with her and she saw him check out a brunette from below. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, typical Ryland... not able to keep his eyes on anyone for too long. He made his way up the stairs, his eyes scanning her body as she did the same to his. "You look good." He commented and Ashleigh blushed, "Look who's talking all handsome and dapper, although... I don't think brunettes go for that type of thing." Jokingly nudging him as he kissed her cheek.
"I thought you might have stood me up there for a minute." Which made Ashleigh think for a second, "I was considering it." Feeling his arm snake around her waist. He knew what was in store for him, driven he was but she did not mind. A man with ambition and a good sense of wanting were what turned her onto him in the first place, after his gorgeous eyes and that amazing voice he has to compliment his entire well being.
"Business mostly along with some dancing and then taking you back to my place and that of course is where the fun begins..." Whispering the last segment of her sentence into his ear before adding a little laugh. "But you do not seem too interested in that." Beginning to walk away and down the stairs, "And that brunette just so happens to be my rival in an upcoming movie role." Passing her by and giving her a small wave.
The dance floor was crowded but she still managed to find a small space where Ryland and her could fit with minimal bumping and shoving. "One second..." As she reached up to her head and let go of the pin that was holding her hair up. Her long blonde curls fell down past her shoulders as she ruffled a hand through it all so it sit well. "Much better." As someone from behind her shoved her gently. "I'll never get used to this." She said looking around at people dancing, "I have no idea what I am doing." Blushing slightly as she laughed and looked down at her shoes.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] oh my just please try to shut up and kiss me baby the words: 587 the outfit: look at header the notes bow chicka wow wow . he wasn't surprised to hear her being so.. passive aggressive. he seemed to have hurt her feeling earlier that day and he was sure that she didn't really like the fact that she had seen him flirting with a brunette. ryland shrugged. he could care less if she thought the brunette wouldn't go for his type. she seemed into him anyways. maybe ashleigh was just jealous. or maybe she really didn't like the fact that ryland was being himself. but she knew when they got into this what he was like and what he wanted. if she wanted out, all she had to do was stop talking to him. ryland had other people he could hang out with. it wasn't like he was hurting in the female department. and he had jasper as a best friend. nothing could really keep him down. his music was the one something that opened these doors for him and he wasn't about to give that up anytime soon. so ashleigh would either have to loose her attitude or leave. and he could care either way.
of course she was considering it. and again, it didn't bother him because he would have been going home with someone else. no matter. i would have found someone else to entertain me. he smirked at the thought. ryland was a man of many talents, all sorts of girls could attest to that. and he knew what he wanted, most of the time. there were certain exceptions to this rule but for the most part, ry knew exactly what he wanted all the time. he watched her as she answered his question. of course it was business. she rarely did anything with him that wasn't business. but he guessed that all actresses did that. use good-looking guys to get better publicity. not that he didn't mind. he wanted all the free publicity he could get. it helped get his music out there. but he was more interested in the ending. when she said that going back to her place would result in some fun. ry hoped so because if she didn't he'd make a point to come back at get that girls number. he wasn't easily impressed, so he wasn't expecting much. but then again, he had had her before. and it was something to enjoy.
he was very interested in that, but she didn't give him time to speak as she walked away from him. he wasn't sure if he was made to follow her or wait. but he never waited on anyone, so he walked behind her then she spoke to him. he didn't feel bad about talking to brunette, still, even if she was her rival. the girl was pretty, but not someone ryland wanted to get to know like he had ashleigh. he then realized where she was taking him. to the dance floor. he wasn't much of a dancer, but he could do it when the time was right. ryland watched in interest as she let her hair down. now, she looked even better. he always liked long hair. his lips curved in a smirk, as his hands rested on her hips. you're fine. just dance to the music. he moved his body a little to joke with her, trying to her to loosen up. ryland couldn't dance unless the girl was willing to. and as of right now, ashleigh didn't seem to really want to dance. just dance like you're having sex with me. it always works. he gave her a grin.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] cause i know you dont care what my middle name is the words: 622 the outfit: banner the notes drama Ryland was like Ashleigh in many ways yet they were both so very different. Both were very interested in each other even though they knew they counter reacted one another and could be extremely negative to the other at certain times. That never stopped Ashleigh though and she just knew that Ryland was addicting. Once you had a taste, it was hard to stop and you always came back for more.
His little joke made her laugh, "Now that you say it like that..." Giving a small laugh as his hands rested on her waist. The music then became really loud and she slowly moved her hips from side to side along with the beat as she slowly got lost in the music.. She pressed her body close to his as her arms raised over her head, her hands clapping as she continued to rock with the beat. Her body pressed against his was a definite change as she saw cameras snapping her pictures.
Usually she was one to run away from pictures but she was with Ryland and he had this way of making everything okay and whenever he was around, running away always risked the loss of him. Although he had different views about her, she could not complain he was extremely good looking and a good person and that was all she asked for. And all they both asked for was just a chance to sleep with each other and wake up pretending like nothing ever happened but basking the triumph that they had gotten what they wanted.
