there's a fire starting in my heart reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] rolling in the deep !
six months. that's how long ophelia had been with tristam, and she was happier than ever. everything was going great, and she had everything she wanted. raelynne, tristam's four year old daughter, absolutely adored her - her and tristam weren't arguing. and ophelia was totally and completely in love with the man. sure, she hadn't said it or admitted it, but she couldn't find the right time to do so. and she didn't want to rush things either. she didn't know exactly how he felt at the moment. she knew he liked having her around, and that he liked her a lot - but she didn't know if he loved her the way she loved him. the scenarios raced through her mind as the packed the beach bag. she could tell him while they were at the beach. or she could wait until they'd been together a year. she wasn't entirely sure just yet, but she was sure that she loved him. and i guess that was really all that mattered at this point. and she absolutely adored his daughter too. with raelynne being raised without a mother and ophelia not being able to have kids, she kind of accidentally took on that motherly role for raelynne. she didn't want rae calling her "mom" or "mommy" because, well - she wasn't. she loved raelynne like she was her own, but it wasn't ophelia's job to take her place. she had mentioned several times before to tristam that if raelynne's mother did come back into her life, she'd back off and if, per say, she wanted back with trist - she wouldn't try to convince him that he should stay with her. she acknowledged the fact that the two of them had history, and with that, she would understand if he wanted back with his ex. he told her time and time again that he couldn't put him or raelynne through that. but still, in the back of her mind, the idea of tristam leaving her for his ex scared lia a little.
it was sunny outside, and granted there was a bit of overcast, ophelia still wasn't taking the chance of getting burnt. she applied a little bit of sunscreen before pulling her hair back into a messy bun. trist, are you ready yet? she called out to him in the bathroom, setting her phone and keys in the pocket of the bag. ophelia lived only just down the street, but spent a lot of her time here. she'd watch raelynne when need be, and occasionally, would come over when raelynne wasn't home for alone time with trist. she had made the move down here for raelynne and trist so that she could see them more; and see a few others more, as well. her and trist got into a bit of a disagreement - and over what, ophelia couldn't remember, so it must not had been something big - and for a second she thought she was going to lose him. and if she did lose him, she'd back her things, and leave. awkward wasn't how ophelia rolled. she hated being awkward. which was exactly why she thanked god for work the first few months her and trist knew each other, and because of the short time she stayed with him. they were awkward. and that was a total understatement. it wasn't so bad when raelynne wasn't around, because then they could goof off a little more, but it was still awkward. and things were after they'd kissed. which, ophelia wouldn't take that back even if someone begged her too. because if they hadn't kissed, they probably wouldn't be where they were today. and she liked where they were. she smiled when he finally entered the room, telling her he was ready, and she gave him a light kiss before lifting the beach bag onto her shoulder and gesturing for him to lead the way. the beach was only a short walk away, so they walked most of the time unless raelynne demanded that she be allowed to bring any toy she wanted - which was all of her beach toys, most the time. and though when she brought them she occupied herself most of the time, allowing trist and lia to do their own little thing, she insisted on also burying her father. which, every time, he said so and suggested her build a sand castle for him instead. it occupied her for a bit, until she decided to crush it with her foot and start all over again. it was the cute little that's that rae did that made lia adore her more and more each day. they finally made it to the beach and lia set everything up, setting the beach bag on one end of the towel to hold it down in case the wind started blowing. she sat up and looked up at him, a smile instantly forming on her lips. he didn't see it, but ophelia found him absolutely perfect in any and every shape, form, and fashion. he treated her so differently than her ex husband had, but in the best way. sure, her and her ex had had a good marriage; but her relationship with tristam went so much better. he treated her like a princess, constantly trying to please her and make her happy. it was something she wasn't exactly used to, but she liked it. he was more gentle too. and physically, he was perfect in ways ophelia just couldn't describe. and probably shouldn't in front of kids. he was just perfect in every way possible, and she always told him that - even if he didn't believe her.

Things had been awkward to say the very least because tristam wasn't really sure how to be around a girl. they only girl he had ever been around, raelynne didn't count cause she was his daughter, was his ex girlfriend. and she had split when raelynne was born. she didn't want the burden of a daughter and so tristam had raised her all by himself, with the help of antares, of course. that man couldn't treat any girl right except for raelynne. and she thought the sun rose and set with him. trist never got jealous because she also loved her father too, just antares alway won over him if he was over. it was cute, probably her first crush. good thing she wasn't old enough to date, cause he'd have killed antares already.
but lia and trist had begun to get a little more physical then just friends before she left. they had started dating and now they seemed like they were insepertable. if you asked antares, it would be that he was the cause of this romance. trist would just roll his eyes. he had watched rae become more and more attached to lia. and he did want a mother figure in her life because all rae had really been with was guys, two to be exact. he had never dated since her mom, so lia was like a new toy to her. and he was amazed at just how connected those two had become. but today was something entirely different, lia and him were going to spend some time together. his parents had agreed to watch rae while they had alone time. they were heading to the beach and he couldn't wait to get some alone time with her. rae had been between them all week. ewwing when he kissed her or held her close. so he had begun to stop while rae was around. when he smiled at lia, he could see how much he cared for her, even loved her. but he hadn't said a word because he wanted to take things slow and he wasn't sure if she felt the same or not.
laying on the beach with her by his side was his idea of a great day. rae would have been there too on his prefect day, but he had wanted alone time with lia for now. he watched her sit up and he smiled. she was beautiful and he wished that she could see herself through his eyes. hey beautiful, would you like to go swimming with me? he asked, smiling over at her before leaning forward and kissing her softly on the lips. 513 , love <3

ophelia and tristam were the couple that did pretty much anything and everything together. ophelia wouldn't trade him or raelynne for anything in the world. tristam did things to her she'd never felt before. he made her weak in the knees with his eyes and smile. his charm made her heart melt. the way he treated her like she was the most precious thing - other than raelynne - in his life was wonderful. and it amazed her just how gentle and sweet he was, even after his girlfriend had left him four years ago. most people would be hateful and bitter toward relationships. but not him. he was on hesitant. and as was ophelia. she'd came out of a bad marriage a year earlier when she had met him, and he simply told her to "have faith" that she'd find someone perfect for her. and she had. that man? the man that had told her to have faith in the first place. just before she had left, things had gotten a little physical. and when she returned, they hit it off. she entered the relationship hesitant to let him in. scared of getting hurt. scared of going through the pain she'd went through because of her marriage. but finally, she let him in. and it was probably the best thing she could've done. he now had her heart and soul. which was a little cheesy for ophelia, at least, but that was how she felt. the whole "he's my everything, i'd do anything to make him happy" type of feeling was how she felt. she was glad she'd decided to go back to going local for wedding planning, and live in hawaii. she wasn't sure if she could stand being in maine or texas away from him and raelynne at this point.
when she sat up and looked over at him, that amazing smile crossed his lips. hey beautiful, would you like to go swimming with me? he said, smiling at her before leaning to her and kissing her softly. she smiled, kissing him back and moving her hand to the back of his neck, kissing him for a bit before pulling back and biting her lip a little. swimming wasn't her strong point. but she trusted trist not to let anything happen to her. she took his hand, intertwining their fingers. they fit perfectly together. she squeezes his hand gently before using her other hand to adjust her top. sure. let's swim. she smiled and leaned over, pressing her lips to his. she loved kissing him. it was one the simple things that made everything great. they didn't really get to be close or cuddly when raelynne was around because she tended to 'ew' when they did it while she was present. so they'd stop, just for her sake. but with raelynne going into that stage where she preferred to play with her barbie dolls then spend time with daddy and his girlfriend, they were getting to be closer than before. she kissed him softly for what seemed like not long at all before she pulled back, smiling and standing up. her eyes gave him a once over, biting her lip a little. god, he was perfect. she knew she was pretty, but she'd never match up to him. he was perfect in ways she just couldn't explain in words. he was definitely the better looking of the two; in lia's eyes anyways.

Thinking back to before tristam had Ophelia; he wasn’t the type of guy that would ever have thought that he would love someone like he loved her. Her and Raelynne got along really well. He figured it was because she never had the mother figure that she deserved and he hoped that Ophelia didn’t see that as a burden like most girls would have. Rae was a lot to handle, but Ophelia did wonderfully and he couldn’t complain at all about her. Plus it did help that he was in love with her. He spent most of his time with his girls. Either one or both all the time. He wouldn’t trade anything for either one of them. And he knew that Antares had joked with him about liking Lia in the beginning, but he hadn’t known that he be this deep into the relationship this soon. But he didn’t mind. it just meant that lia was a keeper. The beach was warm, as always. The sand felt great on his feet as the blanket that they had gotten was not long enough. His eyes watched the girl before him. She looked irresistible in that swimsuit that she was wearing and she wondered briefly if there was any place he could get her to take it off for him. But that would require them, probably, to go back to the house. And he didn’t want to do that, at least not at the moment. As he waited for her answer, he took the time to take her in, all of her. The soft and smoothness of her skin and the way it felt against his fingertips. She would have argued with him that she wasn’t skinny, and no, she wasn’t anorexic skinny, but her could affectively wrap one arm around her and touch his other side. He had told her once that she needed to eat, because he hardly ever saw her eat. But he knew she had to if she stayed her weight. but she was beautiful to him and nothing would ever change his opinion about that.
Her words interrupted his thought process and a smile formed on his lips. He briefly closed his eyes as she kissed his lips, his hand sliding over her shoulder, down her arm. He opened his mouth, deepening the kiss just ever so slightly as his hand roamed her body.but before he could get anymore into it, she was gone. She stood up and he smiled, admiring her body before he stood up as well. Her snaked an arm around her waist and smiled. Okay. Tristam smiled, walking with her to the shore line then letting her go when the water splashed on their toes. The water was cool and welcoming to him. He had felt a little heated with the kiss. As he had left go of her, he walked farther out into the water, only stopping when he was ankle deep to turn his upper body to look at her. Babe, you coming? He smiled, motioning her to walk with him. As he waited for her, he looked out at the water. It was sort of peaceful. The surfers probably didn’t like that too much, but he didn’t mind, he really wasn’t the surfer type. Right now, he was just wanting to spend some quiet time with his girlfriend. Rae had made it sort of impossible for them to have that time when she was with them because she found it gross that they kissed. Of course, she was at the stage that though boys had cooties. Except for him and antares, she didn’t want to have anything to do with boys at all. 614 , love <3

ophelia never imagined that she could've been so in love with someone. with tristam, it was a love she couldn't describe. sure, she could describe the concrete reasons of why she loved it. but it still never matched up to the actual thing. it was far beyond words. and she was beginning to believe that the only way she could let him know how much she loved him was to try to her hardest to show him. she'd do absolutely anything and everything to make that man and his daughter feel loved and appreciated. that was just how lia was. she put people before her and only thought about herself when she had to. it was just the kind of person she was. she was selfless. she especially put tristam and raelynne before herself. she glanced down at her body, frowning a little. she felt so.. unfit compared to trist. he had abs and muscles. lia was just.. tiny. sure, she was skinny, but she didn't want to stick thin. even though sometimes she was fat. or else, that's how she feels. even though he disagrees with her every time.
when she kissed him, she felt his hand slide over her body, opening his mouth and deepening the kiss. she felt her muscles tense. damn, if only they weren't in public. she wrapped his arm around her waist when they stood, and he let her go when they reached the water. she bit her lip, wanting to stay where they were. she obliged when he gestured for her to come to him and met him at ankle deep, wrapping her arm around his lower torso and walking out further. the water was calm, so she wasn't too worried about anything happening. when they reached chest height on her, she stopped. let's not go out any further. she said, turning to face him. she wrapped her arms loosely around his neck and stood up on her tip toes, moving to press against him and pulling his face closer to hers. she pressed her lips to his, kissing him gently. she could feel her heart racing. it was something he did to her on a regular basis. her body still tingled from when he'd touched her. she was craving him a little, and thankfully, the water helped her stay cool. she deepened the kiss, feeling her muscles tense a little. he did this to her without even knowing it; every time. and it just wasn't fair, because sometimes she felt as if she couldn't do the same to him. but still; she wanted him. and she couldn't do anything about it right now. especially since they were in public.

Tristam loved everything about Ophelia. Her eyes, her hair, her body, and the way she looked at him. But most importantly, the way she was with Raelynne. His little girl never had a mother figure her whole life. And tristam felt incredibly bad about it. But it had not been his fault, not really. He didn’t just want someone to be there, but someone that was the one. So he was very picky about who was in Rae’s life, as he had to be because all the girl ever had known was a mother that didn’t want to be around her. His mother did a lot with Raelynne when it came to girl stuff, but there was a generation gap, and his mother couldn’t do it all with a wide-open four year old. So she had really gotten attached to Lia when she was around. Which he didn’t mind, because he was pretty attached to her as well. They had really hit it off, and now, she had practically moved in she was over so much. They did everything together and he wouldn’t have it any other way. She always made him smile, and even though she had some times where she could be a real pain in the ass, she was his pain in the ass.
He smiled down at her when he reached her. She wasn’t that much shorter than him, but close enough where he had to look down at her. They walked a ways before she stopped and asked him not to go any further. He nodded, looking out at the ocean, he didn’t realize she was facing him until tristam turned to look at her. He gave her a warm smile. They were in waist water for him, and the waves were hitting against his chest when they blew past time, breaking shortly after they hit them. Lia was wrapping her arms around his neck and he smiled down at her, moving his own hands to rest against either side of her hips. She kissed him gently and the shivers went through his spin. She always did this to him and he wasn’t sure how. He continued to kiss her, as she deepened the kiss. If he didn’t know any better, Tristam would have thought Lia wanted him to take her right then and there. And he wasn’t opposed to the idea either, which was probably what was scaring him, or the fact of the matter that she might want the same thing. He pulled always slightly when the kiss began to be too much for his controls to handle. Babe, you’re gonna make me slide your bathing suit over a little and take you right now if you don’t stop that. He smirked at his words, wondering exactly what her response would be.

these last few months with tristam were better than she could have ever possibly imagined. she loved the man standing in front of her so much, no one could possibly understand. and ophelia wasn't the kind to take the word "love" lightly. she never said it or thought about saying it unless she meant it. and with tristam, though it was only six months that they'd been dating, she'd fallen hard for him when he had promised to wait for her and not find another woman to take her place. the fact that he was willing to wait a month or maybe even two for her to come back and be with him was something that amazed lia. most men wouldn't wait around. then again, tristam wasn't like most men. he was charming, gentle, caring, sensitive, protective, respectful. all the things you didn't normally find in a man. and ophelia admired him about that. and the way he raised his daughter. most kids weren't exactly the best, even at four, when being raised by only a father. but raelynne was amazing. she was sweet, funny, she had quite the attitude, and was absolutely precious. ophelia loved her. and tristam was doing a damn good job on raising her on his own. it kind of made her choke up a little whenever she though about it. she could be motherly to raelynne as much as she wanted, but it wasn't the same as mothering your own blood child. and ophelia wouldn't get to experience that. she had let tristam know that from an early point in their relationship. and it saddened her more than she let tristam believe.
she wanted the american dream. she wanted that white picket fence. a stable, good paying job. a husband. two or three kids out playing in the front yard with a dog. that's what she wanted. and she could only get three out of four. she had the stable job. she had a boyfriend. she cold get a job. but she'd never get to experience the entire nine months of pregnancy and child birth and the joy of holding your baby when it's first born. tristam had told her time and time again "just have hope". and she did. but first, she had to know that another kid was something tristam wanted too. she couldn't have hope that they could actually have a family unless it was what he wanted too. but they had only been together six months. it was probably too early to be thinking of a family. her and tristam didn't get much alone time as it was with raelynne. and with having another baby they probably would never get alone time unless his parents agreed to watch them a night or two. when she kissed him, she could feel him starting to tense up. he was about to pull back. she knew it. he always tensed up before he pulled back. when they were in public a little. she pouted when he pulled back, but smirked a little as his expression. she was craving him. in public, none the less. this wasn't good. babe, you're gonna make me slide your bathing suit over a little and take you right now if you don't stop that. her expression showed a little bit of surprise to his words, but was quickly replaced by a mischievous smirk. she leaned up, her hot breath on his ear as she spoke. then why don't you? she smirked and pressed her lips to his neck, kissing his neck gently, tracing the hem of his bottoms with her finger tips lightly. she couldn't believe what she'd just said. but she wanted him. she didn't care when or where she got him, as long as she got him. and soon.
